Introducing the DryPRO PICC Protector, the high-quality latex-free armband which vacuum-seals out water, leaving you free to swim, shower and bathe!
“If you have PICC (Peripherally inserted central catheter) you know the area around where the PICC is inserted is prone to infection. You will find that using the Latex Free Dry Pro™ as a PICC line cover when showering or swimming helps to keep bacteria and other contaminates away from the vein the PICC is inserted in. With a Dry Pro™ Latex Free PICC line cover, you can keep the area around the vein completely dry whether you are in the shower or the ocean.
If you’re receiving infusion therapy of antibiotics, chemotherapy, hydration, or TPN (total parental nutrition) and have a PICC line our product you’ll be able to take a relaxing and refreshing shower. Vascular Access health care professionals, infusion nurses and home infusion companies are using our PICC protector to keep their patients level of health and quality of life high.
The Dry Pro™ uses our same vacuum seal over your PICC or IV line, but is tan colored and open on both ends to keep your hands free for use. You can shower, bath, swim with a PICC line, with complete waterproof protection.
To size the Dry Pro™ for PICC lines, measure carefully the circumference of the arm with the PICC line in it. Measure the circumference of the arm just above the bandage or PICC line (around the bicep) and measure the circumference just below the PICC line or bandage (around the forearm). The protector can be trimmed to fit anyone, just make sure that your measurements are within the range below.”
