Hi everyone! My name is Nicole Bottles, and my passion for knitting and comfort in my life lead me to create these PICC line armbands! My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 8, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

For 4 years, I have been in treatment for my chronic Lyme Disease, a bacteriological infection (from tick bites!). I went untreated and undiagnosed for a very long time, and thus I ended up in a wheelchair, in severe pain, and with short-term memory loss. This experience has taught me valuable life lessons in love, respect and perseverance, helping me to become a more mature and peaceful person. I’m in my early twenties, and still ill, although on the road to recovery. I blog about my journey with Lyme disease called Bite Me.

Art has sustained me throughout my life and healing journey. Knitting, playing piano, spinning, sewing, collaging and photography are some of my passions!. There is nothing more wonderful than being up to your eyeballs in string, or elbow-deep in glue! Creating something with your own hands is an exciting endeavor. Crafting in harmony with nature is very important to me, and has been quite the learning process. Striving to live a vegan lifestyle has made me very aware of how fragile life on Earth is. Human existence can be destructive, or nurturing, and I work hard to be in the latter group. It is through the collective effort of individuals that change is made. Thank you for supporting ethically & hand-made arts and crafts.
